For X accounts under 1,000 followers
Launch what you ship.
ShipX is the launch platform for builders with fewer than 1,000 followers on X. Put your product in front of people who are looking for new things — no audience required.
- Free weekly launches
- Real makers, verified with X
- Name, tagline, logo, website — that’s enough
Week 40 launches
Sep 28 – Oct 4 · new products from builders under 1,000 followers
How it works
Three steps. Most makers launch in under five minutes.
- 01
Connect X
Sign in with X. We read your public profile and follower count — that’s how eligibility is verified. No passwords.
- 02
Add your product
Name, tagline, logo, website. Paste your URL and AI can draft the rest for you to edit.
- 03
Ship it to the world
Pick a launch week. Your product goes live on Monday alongside other small builders.
Who can launch
One rule, checked on our servers through the X API — never self-reported.
- 0 – 999 followers: you can launch.
- 1,000+ followers: browse, support, comment and keep a profile — launching is reserved for smaller accounts.
- We re-check your count when you launch. If you grow past 1,000 later, products you launched while eligible stay up.
Why ShipX exists
On most launch platforms the products that win already had an audience: a big following brings the first wave of support, and the ranking does the rest.
ShipX gives builders who are early — students, first-time founders, developers shipping side projects — a dedicated surface where everyone launching starts from the same place.
A smaller following doesn’t make a product better. It just shouldn’t make it invisible.

Weekly launches
Every ISO week has its own feed with limited slots, so launches don’t drown in a firehose.
Maker profiles
Every launch links to a real person authenticated through X, with their shipping history.
Categories & audiences
Browse by category, technology, or who it’s for — developers, founders, designers and more.
Transparent ranking
Community support, comments and listing quality. Deterministic, documented, and never for sale.
No audience required
Built something? Under 1,000 followers? You’re welcome here.
We can’t promise traffic, users, or customers — nobody honestly can. We can promise a fair, dedicated place for your launch to be seen by people who are looking for new things.
Questions
What is ShipX?+
ShipX is a product launch directory for indie hackers, developers, designers, students and small creators. Each week, builders with fewer than 1,000 followers on X launch their products, and the community discovers, supports and discusses them.
How do you know how many followers I have?+
When you continue with X, we read your public follower count through the official X API. It’s checked on our servers and re-checked when you launch. You can’t enter or edit it yourself.
What happens if I pass 1,000 followers?+
Congratulations! Products you launched while eligible stay live and keep their history. New launches are reserved for accounts under the threshold, but you can keep browsing, supporting, and commenting.
Is launching free?+
Yes. Every week has free launch slots. Optional Premium and sponsored placements exist, are always labelled, and never change community ranking.
How are products ranked?+
By community support, comments, the number of different people commenting, recent momentum, and listing completeness — with a small boost for products launched later in the week. The formula is public on the How it works page.
A launch directory for indie hackers and small X creators
ShipX lists new products launched each week by independent makers: AI products, developer tools, productivity apps, SaaS, design resources and more. Browse products launched this week, explore new developer tools and AI products, or find tools built for founders and for developers. Every maker is a real person authenticated through X.
